COVID-19 TITLEY VILLAGE HALL RISK REGISTER AMENDMENT 12/03/20
SUBJECT: RISK REGISTER AMENDMENT DUE TO PANDEMIC OUTBREAK 2020.
TVH risk register has been amended due to the government’s announcement that the “COVID-19” virus has reached “Pandemic” proportions.
Due to the rapid nature of change in regard to this outbreak and the control measures and precautions undertaken by government it is necessary to add risk and local control measures to TVH risk register.
In this regard TVH will follow the governments guidelines closely and apply any appropriate measures with regard to bookings and visitors.
It is advised that transmission of this virus is particularly easy and person to person physical contact should be avoided. In addition although not quantified accurately it is advised that the virus may remain active and transmittable on hard surfaces for a considerable time (3 days to two weeks).
Should it be necessary to suspend bookings and meetings at the village hall a notice will be advised on Facebook and at the entrance to the hall. This may be applied at short notice.
It is regretted that these actions must be considered, however the protection of visitors and their safety remains important to TVH. This is especially important to any visitors who may be more vulnerable to the virus than others.
